Estate Administration
We are experienced in all aspects of estate administration. In addition to representing fiduciaries, we are often appointed to serve as Personal Representative, Guardian, or Trustee for the purpose of resolving estate problems leading to final distribution. Experience in estate administration has involved virtually all common problem scenarios, including estates involving the operation of ongoing businesses, estates involving the marketing of assets, the winding down of insolvent estates, tax matters, insolvent estates and the administration of complex estates.
Estate litigation
We also have experience in all aspects of estate litigation. We represent clients and serve as Personal Representative, Guardian, or Trustee in all of the recurring scenarios which give rise to litigation: Will Contests, recovery of assets, contested accountings, impairment of bonds, tax matters, insolvent estates, the defense or removal of a fiduciary, breaches of fiduciary duty, contested heirship, Slayer’s Statute defense, contested creditor claims, and other fiduciary matters.
